The story, much like the Korean film of the same name it was adapted from, follows Fely (Nova Villa), an elderly woman who finds a second chance at youth after a visit to a mysterious photo studio.
The first look focuses on the pensioner protagonist, revealing that she’s a handful to live with, being a hothead and a control freak. This leads to her daughter-in-law being hospitalized and her son contemplating whether to kick her out of their home.
It’s also hinted that she loves her grandson (James Reid) very much, enough to stand up for his dreams to become a musician.
The official synopsis adds that Fely will take on a new name after regaining a youthful body, during which she is played by Geronimo, as she “embarks on a quest for happiness.”
There’s no release date yet for the Joyce Bernal-directed flick.
